Beautiful kimonos.

Omg i do the apple thing too. For some reason all the art teacher's my schools ever had made us paint apples. Like if we learned about a new artist, paint apples in that style, learned a new technique? paint apples, ALWAYS APPLES

High five! Another person in the apples club.

Is this a secret artist thing that we all do but nobody knows why? ‘Cause that’s neat.

When I was a child and I felt I needed to get more serious about my art I would sit down and paint apples. I don’t exactly know how I came to associate “real” artists and painting apples but it is a deeply ingrained part of my psyche now.

As odd as it may be painting apples relaxes me and gets me out of whatever art rut I find myself in. So there you go.

Spartan or Machintosh? Either or, they look fairly similar.

I hope websites like Tumblr will one day be included in the history of all human art.

I imagine a future art historian writing our time as a chapter in their thesis, adding:

"And in this time period where many artists began painting their subjects with large, red noses. It is still a mystery why."

Which will spark a whole generation of essays exploring all the socio-economic possibilities as to why this was.

And no conclusions will be drawn.

You ever have those days where you try and draw but nothing worthwhile happens?

Yeah. That’s my day today.
